A woman who's mother beleived she was a mouse and who herself beleives she is a robot, is working in a radio manufacturers when she hears voices that tell her that she is low on power and that she must recharge herself by wiring herself up to the mains socket. She does this and is promptly sectioned and taken to psychiatric hospital.
Here, with only the lights and coffee machine for freinds, she struggles with how it is she can recharge her batteries. Slowly amidst her hallucinations and delusion she begins to develop a relationship with another patient who slowly teaches her how she can replenish her energy.
I cant say much more than that, it'd spoil the story. Can't reccomend it enough though!
